Chase Buchanan, member of the Ohio State Men's tennis team, was named to the United States Tennis Association Summer Collegiate Team.
This summer, Chase will train with 12 other collegiate players from around the country.
As a sophomore for Ohio State Buchanan posted a 31-6 overall record and was undefeated in ten conference matches.
Chased ended his season in a 6-2, 7-6 (3) loss to 11th ranked Michael Shabaz of Virginia in the round of 16 in the NCAA Singles Championships.
This season, Ohio State advanced to the quarterfinals of the team championship for the fifth straight year before losing, 4-0, to No. 5 and eventual national champion USC May 23 in a rematch of the 2009 national final.
